Music 101... in the life of Redd
I want talk about the wonderful art
of Music! I have been involved with music since I can remember. I am a vocalist
and a pianist. I’m not the best playing the black and whites, but I feel good
enough to say I have a good voice. I sing all the time and I am involved in the
Chamber Choir and the Men’s Choir at Utah Valley University. I love it!
Music has had such a
powerful influence on my life. I feel that music has a way to speak to us, when
sometimes words can’t. It creates emotions inside that stir our hearts, minds,
and souls. It has the power that no other entity can give to us. It uplifts,
inspires, and blesses us!
I was in choir all four
years of high school and I sang a few times as I served a religious mission for
the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was an amazing experience
to sing for missionaries and also general authorities. I was able to sing in
the Church’s General Conference last April from 2-4pm. It was an amazing
experience I will never forget!
Music is my passion and it’s
something that will never die in me. I want to engender it into my children and
each person I meet!
Andy Grammer is my IDOL! I
want to meet him and sing/record with him so bad! That is my dream!
